Marketing nowadays a passion of many. In the last few years, we have seen the Indian brands are increasing and growing day-by-day on the internet. Every industrial company wants to establish a digital identity. Marketing is an activity of promoting and selling products that offer value for clients, customers, partners, and society along with research and advertising. As it is used to attract customers, it is one of the primary components of business management and commerce.
Market Research is done, which is conducted for new product development or product improvement and is often concerned with identifying customer needs.
The marketing plan occurs in stages:
- Mission Statement
- SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats ) Analysis
- Marketing Objectives
- Targeted Marketing Strategy
- Marketing Mix
Customer needs are central to market segmentation which is concerned with diving markets into distinct groups of buyers on basis of distinct needs, characteristics, or behaviors.
Marketing has two major segments- B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Customer) marketing which is practiced by every firm.
- B2B Marketing refers to the marketing strategy that is geared towards a business or organization. Every company that sells products or services to other business uses B2B marketing strategies. For raw materials, major equipment, etc.
- B2C Marketing refers to strategies in which a company promotes its products and services to individual people.
